Last updated: 20 November 2025
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LoanIt iOS application and related websites and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By installing, accessing, or using LoanIt, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is owned and operated by:
Saud Alhafith (individual) Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Email: saudalhafith@gmail.com
In these Terms, “LoanIt”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Saud Alhafith. “You” refers to the individual using the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. What LoanIt is (and is not)
LoanIt is a tool that helps you:
- Record interpersonal loans and shared expenses between friends or small groups
- Track who paid, who owes, and how much
- View analytics and summaries of your balances
- Send and receive reminders and notifications related to these records
LoanIt does not:
- Move, hold, or process money
- Connect to bank accounts, cards, or payment networks
- Provide accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice
All real-world payments and financial arrangements are outside the Service and are strictly between you and the other people involved.
3. Eligibility and accounts
3.1 Eligibility
You may use LoanIt only if:
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your country, and
- You are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable laws.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3.2 Account registration
To use most features, you must create an account using:
- Your email and a password, or
- A supported sign-in provider (e.g., Apple, Google).
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

When you use LoanIt, you may provide content including:
- Loan titles and notes
- Participant names
- Transaction descriptions, amounts, dates, and splits
- Reminder texts and other free-form text
You remain the owner of your content. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
4.2 Your responsibilities to others
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of the amounts, splits, and loan details you enter
- Obtaining any necessary consent from people whose names or contact details you add as participants
- Ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws
You must not use the Service to:
- Harass, abuse, or defame others
- Share personal data of others without a lawful basis or consent
- Record illegal debts or activities
- Engage in fraud or misrepresentation
LoanIt provides a shared record of loans for participants. Others in your loan groups may see your entries relating to that loan.
5. Pro subscription and billing
LoanIt is offered as:
- A free tier with core features, and
- An optional Pro subscription with additional features (e.g., advanced analytics, scheduled reminders, exports, themes).
5.1 In-app purchases
Pro subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store using your Apple ID. As a result:
- Prices (e.g., $1.99/month or $12.99/year at the time of writing) are shown in your local currency by Apple.
- Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by Apple, not directly by us.
- We do not store your full payment card details.
Apple’s own terms for in-app purchases apply in addition to these Terms.
5.2 Renewal and cancellation
Unless stated otherwise:
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
- You can cancel at any time via your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings.
- If you cancel, you retain access to Pro features until the end of the current paid period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier.
We do not guarantee refunds beyond what is provided via Apple’s policies. You may request refunds through Apple where available.
5.3 Price and feature changes
We may change Pro pricing or features in the future. Where required by law or platform rules:
- We will notify you in advance of any material changes.
- Continued use or renewal after the change will constitute acceptance of the new pricing or features.
6. License and intellectual property
